In 2009, about a year after completing my graduate degree in illustration, I worked my way through Julia Cameron’s workshop “The Artist’s Way”. The practice of morning pages and artist dates, the tools Cameron offers in her books and workshops, completely changed the way I approached my own ideas of what is means to explore creativity in different ways.
I am happy to share that I will be working with the Highland Park Library and The City of Highland Park Resiliency Division to offer a special program starting this weekend. In this first class we will learn about the practice of creating morning pages and discover how this essential tool is for everyone and anyone, declared artist or not.
